The Japanese Hayabusa2 spacecraft touched down on asteroid Ryugu and attempted to gather a sample of its rock to bring back to Earth. Analysis of the sample could shed light on the origins of planets or even on the possibility of life elsewhere in the solar system.

Astronomers discovered supermassive black hole in an ultracompact dwarf galaxy

A team of scientists from the Faculty of Physics and Sternberg State Astronomical Institute, Lomonosov Moscow State University leading an international collaboration with members from Europe, Chile, United States, and Australia discovered a super massive black hole in the center of the Fornax galaxy.
